COLLECTORS are urgently needed to help a leading charity during a 12-day fund-raising appeal in September.
Members of the Battle of Britain Wings Appeal, which raises money for Royal Air Force ex-servicemen and their families, will be out and about in Ely with collection tins from September 3 till 15.
They will be urging shoppers to support their appeal outside Waitrose and Tesco.
The charity is interested in anybody who could give up any time.
