Ely stroke charity Pos+Ability was presented with a cheque for hundreds of pounds this week.
At the charity’s annual general meeting, held in Ely, on Tuesday, representatives were presented with a cheque for £387 by Emily Cousins, of Ely supermarket Waitrose.
Pos+Ability had taken part in the retailer’s monthly green token collection, where shoppers select which charity they want to receive funds with tokens given out at the tills.
Pos+Ability holds regular exercise and recovery sessions for stroke survivors at the Paradise Centre, in Ely.
