Charitable Ely engineers donate over £1,700 to Macmillan Cancer Support

An engineering firm in Ely capped a bumper year of fundraising by presenting a cheque for over £1,700 to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Michell Instruments raised £1,783.70 through a series of fundraising activities throughout 2015, including raffles, tombolas and the Macmillan Coffee Morning event and cake sale.

CEO of Michell Instruments, Mike Bannister and Samantha King, who co-ordinates the firm’s charity work, presented the cheque to president of the Ely branch of Macmillan Lady Ava Paice on Friday February 12 at the firm’s headquarters on Lancaster Way.
