Trumpeter John Barker is in concert at St Mary’s Church in Ely on Saturday April 18.

His performance will include many music genres from classical to jazz to modern crossing many different decades. Having played the trumpet from the age of five and the piano from nine, John has mastered the art of making it look effortless and has developed a beautiful tone.

He travels all over the UK entertaining and is celebrating 30 years as a professional musician this year. He regularly gets his recordings played on BBC Radio 2.

The proceeds are in aid of Potters Village, a charity which reaches out to destitute children in Uganda.
