A man armed with a hammer threatened a member of staff at a shop in Earith before taking off with two small bottles of alcohol.

Officers have released CCTV images of the moment the raid took place at Bridge End Stores in High Street at about 8.40pm on Wednesday (August 8).

The man fled the scene in a silver or white Vauxhall Astra.

DI Dave Savill said: “I am appealing for witnesses who might have seen anything suspicious at the time or who recognises the man pictured to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
