ELY Cathedral celebrated harvest festival in style last weekend as children and adults flocked to see sumptuous displays of autumnal colour.
On Friday, volunteers set up farm displays, flower arrangements and recreated a vibrant farmyard and Soham-based Shropshire's Farm donated enough vegetables to feed an army. A display of bantam hens and farming equipment topped off the feeling of rich plenty in the air.
At a special Songs Of Praise on Sunday, harvest gifts were presented at thanks-giving.
All proceeds will go to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and the Cambridge Food Bank.
