MAGISTRATES dismissed a theft charge facing 21-year-old Littleport man Peter Rose this week, after the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence against him. Rose, of Saffron Close, Littleport, had denied stealing a handbag and contents belonging to Carlene King, in Ely on October 7 last year. He had further denied handling the same bag and contents.
