A WOMAN who lost control of her car and ploughed into an oncoming vehicle on the A10 at Ely has admitted careless driving. Sharon Brown, 29, of Meadow Court, Littleport, suffered a cut lip and concussion in the accident on February 7. She told the police:

Sharon Brown, 29, of Meadow Court, Littleport, suffered a cut lip and concussion in the accident on February 7.
She told the police: "All I can remember is getting near the edge, and trying to pull the car back. I could not stop it hitting the other car."
Ely magistrates fined Brown £250 with £42 costs and endorsed five points on her licence.
