A CARAVAN was set on fire in Cottenham yesterday.
One crew from Cottenham, one crew from Sawston and one crew from Cambridge were called to the blazing derelict mobile home, measuring 30m by 20m, to the rear of Pine Lane, Smithey Fen, Cottenham, at 6.55pm.
Firefighters used jets and hose reels to extinguish the fire and cut away at the structure with thermal imaging cameras to check for hotspots.
They returned to their stations by 9.55pm.
