Archant

Wet weather has brought yet another accident on Padnal Bank, Queen Adelaide.

A silver Renault Clio ended up in a ditch earlier today (Monday November 21) after skidding off the road.

The accident follows an accident on the same bend just two weeks ago, which resulted in a car upside down in the same ditch.

Local resident David Jermy, who has caught a number of accidents along Padnal Bank on camera, said: “It isn’t as if the authority is unaware of the continuing dangerous condition of this road.

“Is it now time for motorists involved in an accident on Padnal Bank to sue the Highways department for dereliction of duty?”
