A mechanical fault caused a car to catch fire in Witchford yesterday.
At 12.59pm, a crew from Ely was called to a car fire in Ward Way.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish it and returned to the station by 1.50pm.
