Police have released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with a theft from a shop.

Officers were called at 2.10pm on April 3 following reports of a theft from the Co-operative store, in North Street, Burwell.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: “A woman entered the store at about 12.45pm the same day and removed several meat items from a shelf, concealing them in two bags, then left the shop without making any attempt to pay for the items.

“The items stolen include 11 rib-eye steaks, six fillet steaks, five rump steaks, 19 sirloin steaks, six beef joints and 10 pork joints, worth a total of £350.”

Anyone who recognises the woman in the CCTV is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
