Police have released an image of a former Royal Mail van which was stolen during a burglary in Ely.

The former Royal Mail Vauxhall Combo was taken from Deacons Lane between 7pm and 8pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The logo on the side of the vehicle is still visible, despite the stickers being removed.

The registration is EJ54 YPH, however may now be on different plates.

Detective Constable Mark Beaven said: “This is quite a distinctive vehicle and I would urge anyone who has seen it being driven since last night, or knows where it is now, to call police.”

Anyone with any information should call DC Beaven on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
