The Stop Berry Fen Wind Farm action group held an equestrian and craft fayre at the Arkenstall School in Haddenham to raise funds for campaigning.
Stallholders sold quality new and used equestrian items, from bridles and rugs to saddles and riding boots, plus crafts ranging from hand-made jewellery and cards to bespoke millinery and aloe vera products for horses and humans.
Lucy Frazer, prospective Parliamentary Conservative candidate, attended the fayre with her children and enjoyed browsing the stalls.
She said: “I was happy to support the Stop Berry Fen Wind Farm action group’s campaign at the fayre. I absolutely agree with the local community that this particular site is not suitable for a wind farm. It is far too close to local housing.”
The fayre raised £513.81 a total that was boosted thanks to three stall holders who donated their takings for the day.
