The Cambridgeshire Youth Ballet Company (CYBC) is calling on dancers aged between eight and 18 to audition for the company on Sunday November 26.
CYBC is an established youth ballet company which aims to bring together the best young ballet dancers from across the region to help enhance their existing dance training.
Dancers from performing arts schools across Cambridgeshire are represented in the company which is led by Saskia Lockey.
Saskia trained and performed with The Royal Ballet Company and The Birmingham Royal Ballet, as well as performing in several West End productions.
Rehearsals take place on Sundays in St Neots and run during term time from January to October.
The company spends the first term developing their technical training and classical technique before starting on rehearsals for a ballet production which is performed in Huntingdon at the end of October.
Next year’s production will be The ‘Adventures of Alice in Wonderland’.
