RAPE and burglary charges will be put to a Cambridge man on Monday following an attack in Littleport.
Martin Abbs, 30, of Hazelwood Close, faces nine counts of rape on a 14 and a 15 year old girl, during an aggravated burglary alleged to have been carried out on a housing estate in the village on November 13.
Abbs and his alleged accomplices Gary Smith, 26, and a 16-year-old from Littleport, also face charges of aggravated burglary. Smith and the 16-year-old, who was arrested in a police raid on his home on November 14, are accused of assault.
The men remain in custody until their appearance at court.
