A SECURITY camera in the One Stp shp in Sham recrded a 14-year-ld stealing a bttle f cider, magistrates heard this week.
Shp staff challenged the teenager, but he refused t shw what was under his jacket.
"The shp assistant suspected he had put smething in his pcket r hdie," prsecutr David Myles tld Ely Yuth Curt n Thursday.
After the by left the shp, staff discvered a gap n the shelf, and CCTV shwed him putting a £1.69 bttle f cider under his cat.
The by admitted theft. Sentencing was adjurned fr fur weeks, because the curt is cnsidering an extensin n his current referral rder.
