BUDDING entrepreneurs at Mepal and Witcham Primary School put their business skills to the test by coming up with a range of ideas for a special Apprentice week.
Based on the hit BBC show, Year 6 pupils were divided into teams and tasked with coming up with ideas on how to raise funds for the Lisa Barnes Memorial Fund.
There were plenty of good ideas throughout the week, including a ‘guess the name of the teddy’ and a raffle but the winning idea was, inevitably, a ‘throw a sponge at a teacher’ game, which helped raise 142.39 for Lisa’s Fund.
The Apprentice week was organised by Year 6 teacher Rebecca Ireland, with all 82 pupils in the school also invited to join in.
