LOCAL Triathlete Damion Clark will be taking his body to limit by competing in this year's Cambridge Triathlon, which takes place on Sunday at Mepal Outdoor Centre.

Along the course, Damion will swim 1.5km across a lake, bike for 40km, and finish with a 10km run. Just to add to the pressure, this is also Damion's first competitive event.

"Whilst I've been training since March, I've never done one before so it's a pretty big feat as far as I'm concerned", Damion said.

Damion, who works for Shearline in Ely, will also be raising money to support cancer charities, and in particular a prostate cancer charity. So far, he has managed to raise more than £415 from friends and family, but is keen to add to that total.
