Businesses from around East Cambridgeshire are to gather for a weekend of debate and networking at the Ely Cathedral Business Group’s Celebration of Business event.

As well as a chance to network with other businesses from around the county, those in attendance will be given the opportunity to voice their opinion on the EU referendum in the event’s ‘European Union: Britain IN or OUT?’ debate from Friday May 13 until Monday May 16.

The debate, which is to be held at 7pm on Monday (16), features panellists from both sides of the argument; with MEP for the East of England, Richard Howitt and East Cambs District Councillor Coralie Green on the ‘in’ side, alongside local entrepreneurs, Rebecca Hesketh and Marcus Johnson.

The MP for Hitchin and Harpender, Rt Hon Peter Lilley will be a panellist for the ‘out’ side, and he will be joined by East Cambs Councillor Tom Hunt and local businessman, John Borland.
