THE Maltings in Ely welcomed more than 30 local businesses to a Business Forum hosted by Ely MPs Jim Paice and Malcolm Moss on Friday (Mar 19)
Presentations from East of England Development Agency's Lynn Morgan, Business Link's Chris Parkhouse, Barclays Bank's Neil Fewtrell and Cllr Ron Bradney, lead into a question and answer session and the chance for networking.
Jim said: "Local businesses are vitally important, and need to be both supported by Government and supportive of each other. Networking forums sharing insight and knowledge are so important in the current uncertain economic climate. At a time when unemployment is still high we must support businesses so they can continue to provide employment opportunities for local people.
