MORPH, the successful re-use furniture retailer based in London, has opened a store in Cambridgeshire, in partnership with local firm Homebrands.

Morph Burwell represents the modern trend in ethical living, refurbishing and selling high-quality furniture from the high street that would otherwise be sent to landfill.

Customers are encouraged to browse the range of stock and they are also able to use the internet, at a reasonable cost, and enjoy excellent Italian fresh ground coffee and snacks at the Morph iCafé. Staff are always on-hand to provide help and advice.

John Fleming, general manager of the Morph organisation, said: "We have a new team picked for their customer service skills, who are passionate about helping people and helping the environment."

Some surplus items made at Morph stores are used to help people from disadvantaged groups, particularly those on low income, to obtain quality, but affordable furniture for their homes, and to help fund skills training and job opportunities for those often marginalised in society.

Store manager James Walsh said: "The opening of Morph Burwell is an important move in providing Cambridgeshire residents in the region with affordable, ethical furniture."

Morph Burwell is at the Swaffham end of Burwell; turn opposite the pink-faced houses and continue until the road turns. Find Morph within the Homebrands hangar. Or visit: www.morphburwell.org.uk
