Gareth and Louise Kavanagh-Dixon opened their Dream Doors showroom in Ely on Thursday.
The duo, from Ely, renovated 29 Market Place, formerly Thomson holidays, and welcomed the mayor of Ely, Councillor Lis Every from the grand opening.
There was a cookery demonstration, a prize draw and food tasting as part of the opening event.
Dream Doors was established in Hampshire in 1999 and now has more than 55 franchised showrooms throughout the country.
Gareth and Louise’s showroom is the first to cover the CB postcode area.
Gareth said: “It offers the best of both worlds for customers; they’re buying from a national brand that’s won numerous awards and built a fantastic reputation, but they’re also dealing with local business owners who have their own reputation and livelihood at stake.”
