THE entries are in - and this week the judges met to draw up a shortlist for the 2013 Ely Standard East Cambridgeshire Business Awards.
Now, the countdown is on to the awards ceremony, which takes place at Ely Cathedral’s Lady Chapel on Friday, October 4.
Among guests at the black-tie dinner will be fellow finalists, business leaders from across East Cambridgeshire, council dignitaries and our sponsors who are supporting the event.
Host for the evening will once again be Mark Peters, the managing director of Star FM. He has hosted the awards since its inception in 2009.
Known for his entrepreneurial skills, Mr Peters is a director of several start-up businesses, including his own audio production company which developed the world’s first GPS device voice replacement service www.satnavvoices.com
