A businessman from Soham is more than half way through running 21 obstacle races in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
Ben Waters, who owns The Fish and Meat Company in Soham, near Ely, decided to take on the races after trying to lose weight.
The 34-year-old signed up to the gym and hired a personal trainer after hitting 16 stone at the beginning of the year. He has since lost three stone.
Mr Waters said: “I’ve done some amazing obstacle course races this year. Something I never thought was possible.”
The father-of-two hopes to run the London Marathon next year and says he is the fittest he has ever been.
