A Witchford firm has won a major contract to provide a new broadcast system for the International Criminal Court in The Netherlands.

dB Broadcast, based on the Sedgeway Business Park, has been selected to set up and install a remote controlled camera system which will provide high quality video to international broadcasters.

The court handles high-profile international criminal cases and has recently begun a move into new purpose-built facilities.

dB, which was founded in 1989, has completed projects in the Houses of Parliament, in London, and at the BBC’s new television centre.

Tom Swan, sales and marketing director at dB Broadcast, said: “We are delighted to have won this contract for the ICC. We have completed many such high profile projects to time and to budget for organisations such as the BBC and Sky, and look forward to supporting the ICC this year.”

The company employs about 50 staff and operates from three business units which stretch to about 22,000sq ft.
