JULIET Browse opened Spoilt Rotten Jewellery at The Gallery, 20 High Street, Haddenham, two weeks ago.

She has beautiful bracelets, earrings, necklaces and much, much more and they are all made and designed by her.

Juliet was head of commercial marketing at Capital Radio in London and left a few years ago to have a family.

She decided to take an evening class learning how to make jewellery and soon friends and family were placing orders.

"It all snowballed from there," explained Juliet.

"I had so much work being commissioned I could not work from home anymore, I needed my own workshop and the shop was an obvious addition. Customers like coming in to have a look round and watch me at work."

Juliet only uses good quality materials including fresh water pearls, Murano glass from Venice, Swarovski Crystals and sterling silver.

"So much work goes into each piece I will only work with the best quality materials," she added.

A vast range of jewellery is available for sale at the shop. Juliet also has her own websites, one for jewellery, one specifically for brides and the other sells jewellery making products directly to the public, appealing to those wishing to make their own jewellery. Items can be ordered on line and gift vouchers are also available.

On Tuesday evenings, Juliet teaches jewellery making at The City of Ely College and anyone interested in learning the craft should look out for her one-day workshops on art clay silver making. She is also happy to run private courses in beaded jewellery making. See the website for details.

One area that is rapidly expanding at Spoilt Rotten is the bridal service. Matching tiaras, hair pins, coronets, necklaces and earrings can all be made to order.

Juliet said: "If brides come into the shop with their colour schemes we can discuss their needs and provide a bespoke service."

INFO: Spoilt Rotten is open Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays 10am-5pm and Saturdays and Sundays by appointment. Why not go along to the Champagne and Sparkles Open Evening on Friday May 11, 6-9pm for a glass of bubbly to celebrate the opening of the new shop and have a look at the beautiful jewellery available at Spoilt Rotten, in Haddenham.
