Working in an extremely competitive market place, AAT now provide training to engineers from royal and presidential flights and more than 100 airlines and aircraft maintenance companies instructing them on all mechanical and avionic systems fitted mainly to Boeing and Airbus aircraft types.

A FAMILY owned business launched just over four years ago, AAT has very quickly become the UK’s premier aircraft type training organisation and one of the most prominent training organisations in the world, currently teaching aircraft engineers in 47 countries on every continent around the world. AAT also operate and run other similarly approved schools in Romania, Singapore, Iceland, Jordan and Kazakhstan and have plans for three other schools in Asia and the Middle East over the next eight months.

Working in an extremely competitive market place, AAT now provide training to engineers from royal and presidential flights and more than 100 airlines and aircraft maintenance companies instructing them on all mechanical and avionic systems fitted mainly to Boeing and Airbus aircraft types.

This is a very highly regulated business and therefore AAT had to gain approvals from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in order to perform this high technology training, AAT now carry the required professional approvals to instruct, examine and prepare engineers on any of the 50 aircraft type training courses that AAT are authorised to deliver by EASA & the CAA.

The training is delivered to AAT client engineers by 39 highly qualified aircraft training instructors who perform the training for AAT. All the instructors have at least 20 years instructional experience and are updated on an annual basis.

The AAT client list is impressive and includes royal flights, presidential flights, 17 national flag carrying airlines and major engine manufacturers.

The business is owned and run by managing director, Rowland Taylor whose sales and marketing office is located at the former RAF Witchford Lancaster bomber station now known as the Lancaster Way Business Park on the outskirts of Ely from where he and his team conduct their business activities.
