Physiotherapist looks to keep on the grow with new studio

A burgeoning physiotherapy business has applied for permission to move into larger premises in the centre of Ely.
Fenland Physio currently operates from a studio in Back Lane, off Broad Street, but, since launching two years ago, has seen an expanding clientele and its success has meant that the business is now on the lookout for a larger space, in Fore Hill.
Jacqueline Morris, of Fenland Physio, told the council: “We currently practice at 1A Back Lane however, due to our practice expanding, we are looking for a suitable premise within the centre of Ely.
“This new development would suit our needs perfectly having ground floor access, space for two good size treatment rooms and the central location with nearby parking.
“We provide a much valued service to the residents of Ely and in the two years since starting we are developing a good reputation for a quality physiotherapy service.
“We currently are four physios working part time but if we were able to move we would be employing further local people such as a receptionist and other health practitioners for example a sports massage therapist and podiatrist.
Ms Morris said the proposed opening hours of the relocated business would be 8am-9pm weekdays and 8am-5pm on Saturdays.
A decision on the plans is expected within the next eight weeks. To view the plans, or to have a say, visit www.eastcambs.gov.uk
