A distinctive British short hair cat has gone missing from its home in Burwell.

Chester was last seen by his owner Jodie Bradford shortly after 9pm on October 6 when he was let out into the grounds of his home in Silver Street.

Chester, who is eight-years-old, normally returns to the back door within 15 minutes but there was no sign of him that evening, causing increasing concern for Jodie and her family.

She said: “He is an indoor cat who sleeps inside every single night so for him to walk off is very out of character. He was loved so very much and we just want him back. He is a British short hair with silvery grey markings, with darker black over the top. He is very distinctive, very fluffy and big great eyes.”

The family is offering a £150 reward for Chester’s return. If you spot him, contact Jodie Bradford on 01638 610565 or 07584190110.
