AN Ely teenager facing two charges of house burglary has been committed to stand trial at Cambridge Crown Court, and remanded in custody.
Adam Bishop-Bridges, 18, of Christopher Tye Close, is alleged to have burgled a home in Main Street, Witchford, on September 4, stealing two mobile phones, keys, a camera, a watch, a wallet and cash.
It is further alleged that he burgled a property in Tennyson Place, Ely, on September 11, stealing a laptop computer and keys.
Bishop-Bridges also faces two charges of handling stolen goods. He is due to appear at the Cambridge court for a preliminary hearing on November 15.
The teenager admitted failing to surrender to the police on September 12, and the £50 fine imposed by Ely magistrates will be wiped out by a day spent in custody.
