BURGLARS helped themselves to an entire kitchen worth more than 4,000 from a showroom in Soham.

Offenders broke into Langtry Fitted Furniture, in Northfield Road, sometime between 7.45pm and 8.23pm on Thursday, November 8, stripping out an entire unit before fleeing.

Once inside they stole the kitchen unit along with a blue Bosch chop saw and a black Bosch oven. It is believed that they loaded the unit onto the back of a Mitsubishi Shogun before driving off along Northfiled Road towards the centre of Soham.

Business owner Tony Jones, said: “It appears that they had been on the premises before because they knew exacly what they were doing and what they wanted. They would have been driving around with an entire kitchen on the back of their vehicle, so we are hoping someone would have spotted them as they drove away.”

PC Rachel Loveridge, investigating, said: “The units are quite large and heavy and would have required at least two people to move. It is also likely the stolen items would have been loaded into a vehicle, such as a 4x4 or van.

“I would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious or has been offered any such items for sale to call police.”

Anyone with any information should call PC Loveridge on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
