A camera was stolen after a man broke into the back door of a house in Fordham this morning.
Officers who were called to Carter Street at 10.30am say the suspect is a “six foot tall white male, aged 25 to 30, wearing blue jeans, black tack-style jacket, a balaclava”.
In two separate burglaries within an hour on Saturday (June 16) thieves accessed the gardens of two Ely houses and broke in through the conservatory doors and windows.
Officers were called to Henley Way and Buckthorn between 11.50am and 12.50pm.
A police spokesman said: “Offenders accessed rear gardens and forced entry to conservatory doors/windows.
“We are appealing for any information to help us in our inquires.”
On Tuesday last week (June 12) a Soham man was robbed of £200 after becoming the victim of a distraction burglary.
The man, in his 60s, answered the door of his home in Station Road to a man claiming he was there “to do some gardening”.
Whilst the victim was kept chatting a second man entered the house through the front door and stole a wallet containing £200.
