LEWIS Oates and Oscar Haines of Little Thetford Primary School will be representing the East of England at the National K'nex tournament final.
After successfully winning the first two rounds of the tournament at local and regional levels, the pair will travel to London for the final.
In the first round of the tournament, both eleven-year-olds managed to complete the construction of a working windmill within the 45-minute time limit, fending off competition from 15 other schools.
Lewis and Oscar were then grilled by judges who eventually decided that the several-hundred block construction was the best of the lot.
