Girls from 1st Sutton Brownies have been celebrating their group’s 50th birthday this week by hosting a party.
During the event at the Glebe, in Sutton, current and former Brownies and leaders, parents and guests looked at photographs recording the group’s history and former brownie uniforms and joined in singing well known Brownie songs.
Party food, birthday cake and fireworks completed the celebrations.
Five girls chose to mark the occasion by making their promise as a Brownie for the first time.
