PUPILS from St Andrew's and The Weatheralls primary schools in Soham participated in a colouring competition sponsored by Budgens to celebrate British Food and Farming Fortnight.
Children were asked to colour in a scene depicting various foods, using whatever materials they liked.
Joy Dean from Soham Books, Susan Taylor and Jenny James from Budgens' customer panel judged the 56 entries. Prizes were awarded in three age categories and winners collected a £5 book token from Soham Books and a £5 voucher to spend in Budgens.
Jade Jesty won overall first prize with Cleo Whyte (3-6 years), Marcio Pereira (7-8 years) and Chloe Peacock (9-11 years) taking first prize in their respective categories. Second prize was awarded to Charlie Green (3-6 years), Victoria Pritchard (7-8 years) and Jacob White (9-11 years).
