BRAVE cancer survivor Lizzy Davies was treated to a luxury Spa day in Ely this week to mark her courageous battle against the disease.
Lizzy, 18, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour aged nine, was whisked off to Spa Ely on Thursday for a full facial complete with all the extras.
The youngster was treated to the Spa by cancer charity CLIC Sargent which supports young people and their families who are dealing with cancer.
Karen Roberts, community fund-raising manager for CLIC Sargent said: "Having known Lizzy for five years I'm delighted that Spa Ely have recognised how much she has been through and are treating her to this fabulous indulgent treat."
Following Lizzy's facial, Spa Ely will be opening its doors on June 6 to invite new and existing clients to enjoy a range of relaxing taster treatments. Proceeds from the day will go to CLIC Sargent.
