TINDERBOX pre-school in Aldreth is celebrating after receiving a cash boost of more than £2,000.
The pre-school, which nearly closed 18 months ago because of problems with funding, is now thriving and can improve further thanks to a grant of £2,236 from the National Lottery.
The money will be used for new IT equipment, including laptop computers and a digital camera.
Debbie Davies, editor of the Ely Standard, was on hand to congratulate the pre-school on its grant. She said: "It's great that such a deserving cause can move forward and I'm sure Tinderbox will use the money in the best possible way."
The group is also looking for a qualified play leader to join them.
