HADDENHAM Bowls Club raised more than �2,000 for emergency medical charity Magpas through its annual triples competition.
Some 28 triples teams from across Cambridgeshire competed in the competition, with a grand total of �2,235 was raised.
At the club’s presentation night held on Saturday, a raffle raised a further �92 and a cheque for �2,327 was presented to Pam Heath from MAGPAS. The triples day was organised by Bernie and Christine Gotobed.
