An Ely taxi firm has become the first in the area to offer an online booking service to make hailing a cab easier for customers.
As well as being able to call their offices customers can now go on to the A2B Taxi Cabs website to find out if there is a vehicle free in their area and how much it costs to book.
Jamie Edwards said: “Online booking is the way forward with taxis, it is how it is done in ondon and bigger cities like Cambridge.
“We are getting up to date by offering it in the Ely area.”
The taxi firm can be found at this year’s Aquafest where it is offering a competition to win a free taxi trip to Stansted Airport.
Look out for them at the festival on July 6 when players must guess the number of balloons inside one of the A2B taxis.
The firm has five cars in Ely and two eight seater vehicles based in Newmarket.
They also offer an executive travel service in a Mercedes E Class.
