A HOST of events at King's School kept children at Acremont House entertained during Book Week.

Local author Gillian McClure brought storybook characters to life as the children came to school dressed as their favourite fictional character.

Liz Sayers, press spokeswoman from the King's School, said: "As expected we had a lot of Harry Potters and Hermiones. There were also Cinderellas, Angelina Ballerinas and animals from well-loved nursery rhymes.
