SOHAM residents are being urged to make money out of their unwanted items by booking a pitch at St. Andrew's Church fete in Soham.
The organisers are giving people the opportunity to hold a car boot sale without their cars.
The bootless car boot pitches are on offer for just £5 each for the event on Saturday, June 23.
Organiser, James Palmer, said: "This is just another way we thought we could raise a bit more money and get even more local people involved in the event."
Charities, groups and organisations hoping to swell their funds can book a pitch for free and simply make a donation to church funds.
The fete, which is in its seventh year, has raised thousands of pounds for the church and local groups in the past.
It will give visitors the chance to take a trip up the church tower and there will be tombolas, children's games and activities, craft stalls, a plant stall, barbecue, refreshments and plenty more.
The event starts at 10am and anyone wishing to book a pitch should contact James on 01353 720572.
