FIRE crews from Littleport and Ely were called to a shed fire at Second Drove in Little Downham on Monday.
Fire-fighters were called to the property at about 11am to find a bonfire which had spiralled out of control and spread to two nearby wooden sheds.
It took the three crews more than two hours to extinguish the blaze, which investigations revealed was started accidentally.
A fire service spokesperson said: “If you are going to have a bonfire, ensure it is well away from flammable items, such as trees, hedges and property.
“Stay with the bonfire at all times and have a bucket of water or a hosepipe handy in case it starts to spread.”
