RIVERBOAT owner Sarah Sims has finally got her licence to set sail after a council blunder left her facing weeks of delay.
A mistake left her reapplying for the boat's licence three months after first submitting the necessary forms.
She had been told in March the licence had been approved by East Cambridgeshire District Council but before it could be issued it was withdrawn because it hadn't been advertised properly.
Now the boat's licence has finally been granted on condition that no alcohol is served after 11.30pm or 15 minutes before disembarking. There is also to be no entertainment between the railway bridge and the road bridge.
