ONE of the most welcome and successful presentations in the Mildenhall area is the annual Custom & Classic Bike Show staged at The Globe House in Field Road. Many hundreds of people come from all around the country to see the splendid range of machines on show. There are six classes, for which prizes are awarded at 4pm. This year's event will be held on Saturday, May 5, with show bikes on site for 2.30pm, though many will be in Mildenhall and available to viewers from noon. In addition, there will be a barbecue, dunk tank, bouncy castle, live music and a variety of trade stands. Entry is £2. Proceeds will go to local charities.
