BIKE-RIDING burglars stole a laptop and jewellery from two Waterbeach homes yesterday (Wednesday).
The incidents happened at properties in Pieces Lane and Way Lane between 8am and 2pm. Tools from the gardens were used to break into both properties.
Two men were seen in the area knocking on doors and looking to see if anyone was home.
The men are described as white, 18 to 20, with short cropped hair. One of the men was wearing a black hooded top with a yellow design on the front and sleeve. They were both riding mountain bikes.
DC Andy Day, investigating, said: "I would appeal to anyone who has any information about these offences to get in touch.
"It is important people leave their homes secure and do not leave tools out or any other item which could be used to break into a property."
