AN Ely Big Issue seller will stand trial at Cambridge Crown Court on drugs charges.
Kenneth Docherty, 41, is accused of offering to supply 50 milligrams of buprenorphine, a class C drug, to an undercover police officer on October 17 last year.
It is further alleged he was involved in the supply of 154 mgs of heroin to the undercover officer on the same date.
Docherty, who is homeless, declined to enter a plea when he appeared before Ely magistrates on Thursday.
He was given conditional bail until a committal hearing on May 10.
