COLLECTORS are needed to help a leading charity during a 12-day fund-raising appeal in September. Members of the Battle of Britain Wings Appeal, which raises money for Royal Air Force ex-servicemen and their families, will be in Ely with collection tins from September 3 to 15. They will be urging shoppers to support their appeal outside Waitrose and Tesco and during street collections in the city.
The charity is interested in anybody who could give up any amount of time .
