EAST CAMBRIDGESHIRE publicans and bar staff have been offered training on how to tackle alcohol-related crime.

Cambridgeshire's Community Safety Partnership and Cambridge Pubwatch put together an innovative and interactive training session called Raising The Bar.

It took place yesterday at The Junction Shed in Cambridge and included tips on how to deal with confrontational situations, how to spot fake ID, drug awareness, drink-spiking, ASBOs and the new smoking laws.
