THE Women's World Day of Prayer took place on Friday at 2pm. This was a united service with St George's and St James' churches in Stretham. The theme of the service was prepared by women in Paraguay and was entitled 'united under God's tent' and Carole Durose of Ely gave an address based on this.

On Sunday afternoon, the 3pm service was led by Peter Reason.

The coffee morning was held on Tuesday at 10am, and prayer and Bible study for Lent was held on Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mr and Mrs Cockerton.

The Girls' Brigade meets on Friday at 6pm.

A united family service with St George's Church will be held here at 9.45am and will be led by Peter Cockerton. The afternoon service is at 3pm when the preacher will be Brian Mills.
